Non-Ferrous Sorter & Grader.

We are looking for an accurate, safety-conscious sorter and grader for the canasa yard in Dammam's 2nd Industrial City. You will identify, separate and grade copper, brass, aluminium and stainless steel to export standard, so every load is priced on what it actually contains and every seller can see how the call was made.

• Sorting and grading: Identify and separate copper (bare bright, #1 and #2), yellow and red brass, aluminium (extrusion, cast, sheet, UBC) and stainless 304/316 into their correct grades.
• Quality control: Check incoming loads for contamination, attachments and mixed alloys, and downgrade or set aside material that does not meet the grade.
• Grading in the open: Grade in front of sellers when they are present and explain in plain language why a piece falls where it does.
• Material security: Keep high-value non-ferrous stock in its assigned bays, counted and accounted for at the end of every shift.
• Weighing support: Work with the weighbridge team so each graded line is weighed and recorded separately on the ticket.
• Yard safety: Wear PPE at all times, keep walkways and bays clear, and follow the yard's handling and cutting procedures.

• Experience: Grading or sorting experience in scrap, smelting or metal trading is preferred. We will train the right hands from a related industrial background.
• Material knowledge: Able to tell non-ferrous metals apart by colour, weight, magnet test and file or spark test.
• Accuracy: Consistent judgement under time pressure, because the grade decides the price on the ticket.
• Physical capability: Able to lift and move material and work a full shift outdoors in yard conditions.
• Language: Basic Arabic or English. Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Tagalog or Malayalam is welcome.
• Residency: A valid, transferable Saudi Iqama.
